It is produced by Immersion Theatre, back at the Kenton after previous pantomimes there, and tickets are on sale now. The 7pm performance on the opening Saturday is already showing as sold out. Adults going with them do not need a ticket for it. Select “Child + Meet & Greet” when you book.
The other Christmas shows at the Kenton
The panto is not the only family option, and most of these are single dates.
- HAODS: A Christmas Carol, Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 November, staged by the Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society.
- Santa’s Best Ever Christmas, Saturday 28 November at 11am and 2pm. £14.75, 1 hour 15 minutes, aimed at 2 to 8 year olds, and every child gets a wrapped present from Santa after the show. (Kenton Theatre)
- The Nutcracker, Sunday 29 November.
- Live (next to) The Apollo On Tour Christmas Special, Tuesday 15 December, 7.30pm.
- A Swinging Christmas, Chris Ingham Quintet with Joanna Eden, Wednesday 16 December, 7.30pm.
- A Celtic Christmas, Thursday 17 December, 7.30pm.
- Muffin Hurst Presents Cinderella, Thursday 31 December, Saturday 2 January and Sunday 3 January 2027, which is the option if you want a panto after Christmas rather than before it.
Prices for those are on each show’s page at thekenton.org.uk.
Getting there
The Kenton is at 19 New Street, Henley-on-Thames RG9 2BS, a two-minute walk from Market Place. New Street has no car park of its own, so the realistic options are Greys Road, Kings Road or the station, and the two big ones throw you out after three hours, which does not cover a 2.30pm matinee plus a meal. Prices and stay limits are on our parking in Henley page.
Note that Henley’s town centre closes to traffic on the evening of Friday 27 November for the Christmas lights switch-on, and anything else shutting that month will appear on our roadworks and travel page.
Dates, times and prices verified against the Kenton Theatre’s own listings on 5 September 2026. Performance availability changes, so check before travelling.
